Exporting view question

I have an .indd file that is created from a few masters 1 master has headers and footers (Left side spread has pg numbers footer on left and right side has pg numbers on right.)The text on those pages are also shifted ( left side left right side right)

I cannot see any text boxes on the master page used but when I go to export to pdf the pages all come up with ONLY the left side headers and footers on ALL pages and the text is in the middle.

I see the pages are assigned the correct masters so I do not think it is that, Is it a setting in the pdf export?

Anyone?

Can you provide screenshots so we get a better idea? My first guess would be either exporting pages vs. spreads, or your masters are a different size than your document pages. Does everything look alright on the document pages and only looks wrong on export?

AH I see , I needed to export as

Pages /All Pages

and Pages /Spreads set to Pages.

1. last thing

I have to shift the text box for each page Lets say Master B

0.625 left and the opposite for the right

is there a way, I'm sure there is to automate that so each spread has the text boxes in the correct place?

Are you saying you have to move the master page items on each document page? If they are the same size, then you shouldn't have to. Or are you shifting on export to accommodate spine/creep? The point of masters is that you have common elements set on the master so you don't have to do anything on the doc pages with those items.
