Extra headroom above copy in text box

I've noticed this with certain fonts in Indesign. This copy doesn't align to the top of the text box. This particular font is Barlow Condensed Semibold, but I've seen it with others. Also have seen it with 2 different text boxes in the same document where the font does align on some and not on others. Really makes it tough when trying to align to certain numbers.

For the record, no text wrap, no inset on text box, box set to top align, style not aligning to grid.

Here's the same doc. 2 boxes, 1 with extra headroom, 1 without. Same font, size, only the color is different. Ran the file through the IDML route. Still wacky.

Text Frame Options / Baseline Options / First Baseline: Cap Height

Go to text frame options and change the settings in the offset part, but also in the baseline settings register. Best to save it in an Object Style to make the furter use easy and fast.
