Feature Request: Command Line

I think this feature would make all Adobe products so much faster, easier to use, and more efficient. Something where you could turn it off and on and type your command, or a custom alias, and immediately activate the tool or menu item you want. It could just be something you toggle in the Window menu and that could appear at the top of the screen under the upper toolbar.

That is where the Adobe engineering staff hangs and hence there is a better chance of this getting attention of proper audience

If I understand your question correctly, then on the Mac you can quickly locate and invoke the desired menu by typing your search term in the Help > search field.

 

I find it useful once in a while when I need to locate a menu in an app where I'm not closely familiar with all menu choices.
