In the Find and Replace menu in InDesign, I can only select five fonts in the Basic Character Format option to replace one font with another. The other fonts are not showing up. This issue appeared suddenly. Can you help me?

I think that, if you're talking about the Find formats, it's actually behaving as expected. I don't remember how many versions back this goes, to be honest, but I really appreciate the fact that it only shows me fonts that are actually present in the document when I'm in the Fonts dropdown for the Find menu. The Font dropdown in the Basic Character formats of the Change Format section shows me all the fonts that I have installed, as I'd expect.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Are all open fonts showing in the character panel? Are you using a font utility to open your fonts? If so check that it is launched and showing fonts that are missing in your screenshot as actually being open. Please provide full details as to how you are loading fonts. Please also peovide the exact version of InDesign and operating system that you are using.

You probably need to Reset Preferences:

And/or as you are on a Mac - clear cache or something like that.
