Hello!
I've been trying to convert an .swf file created in InDesign, to .exe, so i send my client a single file (also he won't receive the swf, already told me).

The archive is an interactive/animated guide of 8 pages, a little heavy since it has swf animations in every page, and two sound files.

I've used a few programs and tricks and could make it to a smooth and sensitive .exe, but all music and animations are gone. Every other information, buttons, directions, texts, transitions, etc.. are there.

Does anyone know what can i do to convert my .swf to .exe without losing the music/animations??? All animations are in swf made in Animate CC, all sound tracks are mp3.

Thank you soo much in advance!!

It can't be done. SWFs are not stand alone applications they always need either the Flash player application or a browser running the Flash player plugin to run.

I'm sorry, but I don't think this is really an InDesign question. I'm not sure how you are trying to convert the SWF to exe, but InDesign certainly cannot do that… and I don't know of any tools that Adobe offers for this. Is the problem the Animate CC animations? How are you importing those into InDesign? Are you using swf or OAM?

oh, i've been working on indesign, every archive (animations y music) are put using the import feature, no code at all (since i don't know much about it).

About converting the swf, i tried some third party programs and the Flash Player 10-12 trick, that way i got the muted exe file; also  exporting on FLV to open in Animate (didn't work), trying to import the swf into Animate (didn't work), exporting in other standalone formats dont's work neither...

I don't exactly know what could be the problem, the Indesign swf file is gorgeous, do you know any way i could convert it?? I'm sorry if this question doesn't have to do with InDesing, but i really don't know what the problem could be.

You might want to ask in one of the Adobe Flash forums.

Flash Builder can create AIR and mobile applications, but that would require a fair amount of coding skills.
