Please don't force me to use Grammarly. I'd pay extra for a grammar checker native to InDesign.

Use Word for writing. InDesign is for publishing.

This. Like many, I use ID for some "writing" — my fancier correspondence, etc. and I will do finish writing on projects alreadly well along in it.
But to write? Stripped and hot-rodded Word. Much more "capable" at that job.
Although I do disable the grammar checker there... 🙂

No one is forcing you to use Grammarly. Elaborate, what you want. What language do you use which causes you problems and which dictionary you are using. E.g. in German we can select between Proximity, Hunspell and Duden as preinstalled and only Duden is ok.

Hey
You probably don't want to use Grammarly - and that's fine, as far as I know Grammarly is not native to InDesign - as far as I know there are no plans to integrate Grammarly with InDesign.
Here's a Grammar Checker for InDesign
Mindgrammer is a third party solution - https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.2529.html
Hope this helps.
