Have to overwrite my InDesign library every time

I'm using an InDesign library for a project.

But everytime I close the library I have to overwrite the one I made the day before.

I'm using InDesign 19.3 on my Mac OS 14.4

How can I solve this problem, so that InDesign overwrites the library by it self

Are you asking about an InDesign Book file ? Or an InDesign Library file?

If a book file (indb) you must click the Save Book 2nd icon button at the bottom of the panel, or else click the Book panel menu button and click Save Book.

Sorry, you're right. A book file, not a library
