Highlights print Orange on Printer?

When Export my PDF my printer prints the highlights Orange (from Indesign).. If i make the file in word it prints Yellow. how can i get Indesign to print my yellow yellow?

Hello Its anything that we PDF from Indesign. If we make a word document and highlight the same text it prints fine. Below will be the settings.

Does it happen if you set the Output to Acrobat 4, Convert to Destination, Document RGB, Include Profiles?

If the document is only printing on a composite RGB printer (i.e., inkjet or laser), try setting your PDF Export>Output tab to this:

does yopur printer print in RGB not CMYK?? if yes, convert the color in indesign to be RGB and export to PDF.

Setting the Export dialog’s Output Destination to an RGB profile will convert all of the document color to the destination RGB space.

Hello all THanks for getting back to me and trying to help. it turn out that the New printer we recieced did not have the Post script information that Indesign uses. they are supposed to update the printer later today..
