Hi Adobe Community,
So im doing a table in indesign which is like 30,000 cells and aprroximately more than 1K pages.
So i need to make my life easier since there are like thousands of row breaks. (See samples: ALFA ROMEO, 147(937), 156 (932).... etc.... which is basically the one you see in bolder and bigger font.
So all through out there is a lot of these and if i do it one by one to merge cell, make font bigger change the size etc etc it will take me forever, so is theres a way to actuall just copy the formula to other cell to apply to the next cell without manually editing it? or is there an easy way you can suggest? Thanks guys in advance for the help.

Hi,
I am not aware of any way through which you can simplify the merge action of cells but offcource you can simplify the action of applying the formatting.
Use the eyedropper tool or use a character style inside the cell style and apply the cell style to all of these "Alpha romeo" cells.

Unfortunately, the merge cell part of your equation is the one thing you can't automate. If you select you row by clicking the arrow over the edge of the table there IS a button for merge cell in the control panel to the right of the number of rows.
That being said, once you have your row merged, use Paragraph Styles, Cell Syles, and Table Styles to format.

Dave Saunders wrote a script some time ago that could do this, it was called poptabunleashed. There's an article on indesignsecrets.com about it - https://indesignsecrets.com/copy-data-from-one-table-into-another-with-poptabfmclip.php I also demonstrate it in use in a youtube video: Must Have! Episode 5: Table Scripts Part One - Changing Contents - YouTube
Is this what you're after?

Have you set up a style for that treatment? You can add it to your CC Library and have it ready to apply to any cell that you need.
Please post a link to just one page with one formatted table as shown in your screen shot.
