Hi there! I recently downloaded the most recent Adobe Creative Cloud to use InDesign for one of my classes as the creative cloud is offered through my university. However, I have a Mac High Sierra 10.13.6 and it won't let me download InDesign because it's not compatible. Is there anyway to use an older version of InDesign that I can use with my Macbook?
I'm completely new to Adobe Creative Cloud and I'm unsure of how to download InDesign on my older Mac when I need it for a class assignment.
InDesign CC2020 should be compatible with your MAC, see the system requirements at the following link
https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements/2020.html
To download this version follow the instructions given in the following link
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html
Do note that previous version download is available only to subscribed users, trial users have the option to use only the latest version of the software

If you have an old computer, you cannot upgrade. Don't dare to tell to buy a new one!

I don't understand this post. Not saying it's the case in the post, but if one has a computer that can't run the desired software, what are one's options?
