How do I bring a multiple-page PDF into InDesign?

I've tried 'placing' the multiple-page PDF into InDesign and it comes in as 'first page only.' I know that you can drop a multi-page document onto the Illustrator dock icon and a dialog comes up to allow you to chose pages and format... this does not work as I tried this approach also with InDesign... so, I come here to ask...

Proper way? Best way?....
TIA,

Ken

Of course, both replies here are correct... Ah, the little 'hidden' options box, so quiet and blended in, I missed it. From now on it will become more noticed. First time I've needed to import more than a one page item. - Thank You All.

I'm using CC on a PC and there is no "options" dialogue that pops up (or that I can dig up anywhere) when placing anything. Any advice?

Show Import Options should should be available when choosing File > Place for at least Photoshop PSD, PDF, Adobe Illustrator, and INDD files (and a couple others).

What operating system? What exact version of InDesign?
