How do I open exec files from pagemaker. Adobe no longer support Indesign CS6 which opened this file

One very frustrated user trying to open some very important exec files from 2002 to 2004. I have Photoshop/Lightroom/Raw and Indesign on my MAC. All the forums I have visieted talk about opening these with CS6. BUT Adobe stopped supporting CS6 in 2017.

If anyone has any ideas, or has an old copy of CS6 that I can copy or you might offer to open these files for me- the original files for the Silvershotz photography magazine.

Many thanks Clive Waring - Editor at Silvershotz

I have InDesign CS6 at my workplace. If you send a ZIP file to me, I could try opening & saving them as IDML. Use the contact form at my website ( http://www.gusgsm.com/contact/feedback )

The offer is free of charge and responsability: Unzip, open & convert, no more 😉

Best regards

Just a note about the "exec". In Mac OS, this is a default name that Mac gives to unrecognised files with no dot in the name. It's really quite unhelpful for Apple to do this.  Your files are made in the days before Apple forced a .PM7 or similar ending to the name. No, it doesn't help you solve it, but I note this in case you try to follow up the "exec" connection, which would be a dead end.

They were opened. From the menu "Open as..." but you've got to say "All files" instead of "All readable files".

I can also convert these files for you, if you still have a need for this (I see Gusgsm has already offered).
