How to create assets through a plugin?

Community Beginner ,

I want to create a plug-in for InDesign in which there are features of paragraph styles and character styles.

I want this to appear when a button is clicked in my plug-in and be used to change the text that I have added through my plug-in.

I need help to know how can I code this?

And if it already exists in InDesign then what is this feature called?
