I'd like to do some frame consisting of just two corners, like this. Can someone explain how it is done?

You could make a rectangle the size of the corner effect then use the Direct Select tool to select one corner point (such as the bottom right corner) then delete it. Now you have one open path with three points. You can then copy that object and paste it into a text frame as an anchored object. Once the object is anchored you can adjust the Anchored Object Options to automate its position, like so…

Hi Marie,

should the strokes stay the same in length when the frame changes its width or height?

Or should their length be a percentage of the frame's width and height?

Thanks,
Uwe Laubender
