You can certainly Place PDF files into InDesign, but they will come in as graphics, not editable pages.

Hi Fran,

There are multiple ways to import PDF in InDesign. If you want to import one page, simply go to File > Place > Check "Show Import Options" and choose the page you want to place.

If you want to place all the pages of PDF (every PDF page on a different page), then use an inbuilt script. Go to Window > Utilities > Scripts > Application > JavaScript > Double Click PlaceMultipagePDF > Choose a document and open PDF.place PDF new.png

Regards,

Srishti
