it is in German, but still. Is there a solution to adjust the UI SCale. There is no curser under Edit - Preferences etc...The pop-up window in the front is the right scale, the indesign in the back is the one which is way too small. any idea how to change that would be great. thank you

You'd better ask in the InDesign forum.
Please tell them which version and which system it is.

Thanks for reaching out. As per your query, you want to increase the size of the InDesign interface. Please go to Edit > Preferences > UI Scaling and choose "Scale to higher Supported Scale Factor" and then restart the application.
