Hello Community!

First of all, I admit that I am not an advanced user. I have an issue with a template that i need to use for work: in each page there are several textboxes and charts (chartwell font) in wich I need to ad endnotes on the last page of the document. Now, the problem is that textbox are "standalone", there are not linked and every textbox has an indipendent text. As the textbox inside the page were apparently not generated in tha reading order, i find the note 1 in the textbox at the end of the page and the note 5 in the textbox on the top pf the page. Is there any method to order the textboxes without linking them?

Thank you all!

Which application and version are you using to create your native document?

Also which OS do you have?

I have no idea about the version used to create the original document, I'm using Adobe InDesign 2021 (16.1) to edit this document.

I'm using Windows 10.

Hi l.girardi,

did you try to change the creation order of the objects?

You could cut one item to the clipboard and do Paste in Place.

Do that to all other items in the order you want to see the endnote numbers.
