Hi @Hendy374084080dng,

I understand you want to place a JPEG image within a text story in InDesign. Here’s how you can achieve that:

1. First, place your JPEG image into the InDesign document using `File > Place` and select your image file.
2. You can place the image inside a text frame by first creating an inline frame. Select the text frame where you want to insert the image. Then, go to `Type > Create Outlines` to convert the text into outlines. This will allow you to position your image within the text flow.
3. After placing the image, you may need to adjust the text wrapping settings. Select the image, then go to `Window > Text Wrap` and choose the appropriate wrap option to ensure the text flows around the image as desired.

If you encounter any issues or have specific requirements for the placement, please let me know:
- Are you using a specific version of InDesign?
- Do you have any particular formatting or text flow issues with the image placement?

I’m here to help with any additional questions! Leaving the discussion open for more insights from our esteemed community experts.

Thank you,
Abhishek Rao

Why would you convert the text to outlines? That is not only unnecessary but quite destructive.

The proper way is to place the image and then depending upon the layout either cut it and paste it into the text as an inline graphic or create an anchored object by dragging the little blue icon on the graphic frame into the text flow.
