How to Separate a Spread into Individual Pages Without Losing Objects in InDesign

Hi,
I am setting up a leaflet using a template I have been provided. There's 5 'pages' total, currently over 2 spreads and one page.
I want to change it so that the first 'spread' - which is a title page and back page, isn't a spread and is just individual pages. The file will likely be used digitally so this formatting makes the most sense, with the user viewing the title page at the beginning of the doc and the back page (with contract details etc) at the end.
I have tried to turn the spread into two pages by right clicking and deselecting ' Allow selected spread to shuffle', then have tried both duplicating and moving the page. When I duplicate it, the page gets added to the spread (so it appears as a spread of 3) and although the text carries over none of the images or formatting I had inserted previously does.
The other way I have tried is right clicking on the first page of the spread and selecting 'Duplicate page at the end of document' and the deleting the page from the initial spread, but when I do this a warning comes up saying 'The affected page contains objects. Delete the page anyway?' and when I proceed all the content from the 'second' page of the initial spread is gone.
Can someone advise how I can ensure the objects are on each page rather than the spread, without me having to rebuild it? Thanks
