How to turn off facing pages in an alternate layout

I'm using InDesign 2024 and I would like to turn off facing pages on an alternate layout so that they are single and I can add trasitions, I've already tried turning off allow pages and spreads to shuffle and with it on as well. I cannot figure it out.

I am aware of how to do that, it's just that I have an alternate layout within my file I want as just single pages but I want oringinal layout to stay in spread format.
