I can't permanently assign indt files to Adobe InDesign 2024 (19.0.1) in Windows 11

I've tried every combination of installing both, neither and each one singularly of InDesign 19.0.1 and 18.5, but I still have a popup window asking me which program to use when trying to open an INDT file. Selecting InDesign from two icon-less options only gives me the "Just Once" option, and not "Always". (See attached pic)

Choosing the app (i.e. ID19) manually from my hard drive just gives me the same "Just Once" option.

The whole thing was broken when I first installed the buggy 19.0 update, and it's been broken since.

And no, I can't even reassign it using Windows Settings > Default Apps, as InDesign is not listed as one of the programs.
