Isn't there a way to convert, per example in my case, Adobe CC files into IDML for my CS6 softwares ? I even have a IDML file done on another account so I could open it in my CS6 account wich I cannot open at all even if its an IDML. And I can open this exact IDML on an cc account.
It's really not helpful and really badly done to face these issues. It really is an handicap.

IDML is very helpful as it allows you to pass Indesign files down to older versions. However, this should be done in the original version (or higher) that saved the file. There is no way to get a different program creating an IDML file to be read in by a lower Indesign version.

If I really cannot read an IDML on my cs6 account while I can read this same file on a cc account, what does it mean ?
I have a mac cs6 software and I made this IDML on windows, could it be because of that ?
Thank you

OS and versions do play no role here-in. They are all compatible to each others files for as long as the software runs on your system.
If you have a correctly written idml file, Indesign CS6 will read it.
What message do you get?

It sort of quit :Unexpectedly quit. A crash raport has been generated...
And as I said, I can open this exact file on the cc account where I've created it.
Thanks for your answers

I've recently had to made adobe support reinstall my cs6 files because I unsubscribe from my cc account and it makes my cs6 disappear... Is it because the installation went wrong? They use the adobe cc cleaner and I don't know what could have happened...

Yes, there is with our tool, Markztools2. It is a stand-alone application on the Mac and works like this:
Down Save #InDesign #CC2019 - NEW MarkzTools2 - YouTube
You can turn any .indd file into IDML. Effectively an InDesign to InDesign converter!

Well this doesnt seem helpful at all. Why pay a ton of money for your tool when I can just buy the most up to date InDesign version for the same price?

Download the free version of Viva Designer and drag and drop your INDD file and export as IDML

Viva designer is not freeware - you can get a trial - personal or commercial usage.
You can do the same with Adobe for roughly the same pricing.
Free trial to convert to your files to IDML.
Or monthly/yearly subscription and cancel when you want.
Just get the free trial of Adobe and pay for a month subscription when you need it....

Using Viva Designer 11, I was able to OPEN the INDD file. Viva did a pretty darn good job of interpreting the file, too. The doc looked exactly like it did in InDesign. Now, this was a moderately complex document. It had some defined stiyles, but no tables or TOCs.
Viva Designer 11 was not able to export it to IDML, however. The option was available via File > Export > Documents... The IDML option was readily available, but it no matter what I tried, the program crashed during the export (typically, it crashed about 1/3 though the process). I triple checked the document for missing fonts or images, but the source seemed rock solid, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I had better luck with Viva Designer 10. I was able to export the file, however there were LOTS of errors. The text seemed to be there, but the layout was messed up (items moved a bit and things like that). Also, the text frame linking was a complete disaster.
I'm going to continue experimenting to see if I can either stabilize Viva Designer 10 export, or get Viva Designer 11 to work.

Viva Designer is not freeware, but it does have a 31-day free trial.
