That's the title, but I think the OP is asking if this is the latest version, and CS6 to me seems a bit old. I also couldn't see it in the SDK area: https://www.adobe.io/apis/creativecloud/indesign.html and this may be a question for one of the Adobe Staff to answer

To get to the SDK you have to click the "Get Started Today" button on the page you linked above : https://www.adobe.io/apis/creativecloud/indesign.html

[Which takes you to https://console.adobe.io/downloads]

Once there you can select InDesign and dowload it. I know there is documentation for IDML but I don't think the Cookbook is one of them.

Since a key use of IDML is version-independent interchange, my hope would be that it isn’t changing, and old info is still fully relevant...

The basics should be unchanged but technically, an update is required for new properties. But of course we (aka "those who need to know") know when to look, how to look, and where to look, for these.

I say, let's keep it this way as a way to separate the Real Men from the boys (/girls)!
