I created the PDF in inDesign and sent it to my clients to feedback. They used Acrobat and sent it back but now it is saying this and I can't use it in Import PDF Comments - which was really helpful.

Has anyone come across this and why is it happening in the latest version of inDesign?

"Import Data File…"

Thank you very much for the advice.
In my case it doesn't help that much.
At first I closed a text file that is built from many masters, and then I imported the PDF file into a new INDD file.
There is no live text in the new file, and the client made a mistake and worked on this file...
Basically, it's the exact same file as the first file. Maybe there is something to do after all...?
