INCH FRACTIONS CONVERTING TO PICAS

It used to be that you could type 1/8i into the New Document dialog box and have InDesign convert it to the current measuring system (i.e. picas). I just tried it and it converted to 0p0.25. instead of 0p9. It works with using decimal .125i. I am a teacher and I would brag how you didn't have to know the decimal equivalent to enter fractions in inches and have it automatically convert to picas.

Anyone else notice this? Bug? "Feature"?

It works for me in the latest CC2018, what version are you using 1/8in also works
