Mentor ,
Oct 26, 2021 Oct 26, 2021

One of my friends from Poland already receive it ID v2022 ( https://forum.rudtp.ru/threads/macos-monterey.78239/post-1275998 ).

Is there some more guys who's have it in CC App new v2022 to download?

So strange new politic from Adobe that not all have ability to install new versions.

Hi Vladan,

could you tell the exact version?

( Hold the Cmd key and go to About InDesign. )

Or execute this little ExtendScript code:

alert( app.version );

I'd like to see if there is any difference between the prerelase and the now released version.

Thanks,

Well…

One new feature is very important for all InDesign users, especially on Windows 10:

A scalable user interface and the options to scale also the visibility of anchor points, frame edges and control points.

FWIW: All the help pages are not updated yet.

I concur. As someone that's been screaming about the UI scaling for the last 5 years or so, this is a major upgrade especially on the Windows side of things. It works exactly the same as Illustrator.

It's not exactly the same. Illustrator gives you 5 size options, InDesign only 3.

I just installed to try the scalable interface. It's too bad they only give 3 options. Illustrator has 5 size options. The medium option is too big on a 27 inch monitor. I would like to have chosen the size in between the small and medium settings, like I can in Illustrator. Also, they add this UI feature but still haven't implemented proper dark mode? System dialog boxes and window headers still remain white!

Odd...

InDesign on Windows has 5 size options. I find that when features are not exactly the same cross-platform, it's a restriction of the OS.

Yes it is odd. Illustrator on Mac has the 5 options. Maybe someone forgot to add the extra notches in the interface?

Another aspect here is when will the SDK be release publically, I checked and it still says 2021 as the latest SDK release version. With the application out for some and the SDK not out at all this is going to create quite a headache for developers.

Hi All,

We're happy to share that Adobe InDesign 2022(v17.0) is now available to download worldwide. Please click on this help article to know how to update the app.

The release was done in phases hence in some regions the update was not available earlier. We appreciate your patience.

Hi Ashutosh,

thanks for the info.

Just opened my German CC Desktop App, went to "Help" and looked for updates.
