I have a new work computer which was upgraded partly due to belieiving 8gb of Ram wasn't enough to run Adobe apps (2024 Macbook Pro M4 Pro 48GB). I predomantly need to use Indesign and have spent the last week or two messing around with signing in/out restarts, trying to download files, viewing actiivity monitor, Adobe support calls. Most importantly I'm not getting any work done and it's stresssing me out.
Should I try to install the previous IOS?
The worst part is that I can't access the cloud docs after I've spent the last few months migrating my files there.
It's driving me crazy! Please help.

Judging by other similar threads, Sequoia is unlikely the cause for your problems.
Do you have the same issues with InDesign 2024? You can install it from the Creative Cloud app if needed. Many users have issues specifically with the new InDesign 2025.

Thanks for the intel, yes I did try 19.0 but will have another attempt now. Another thought I had is that I recently synced my files to One Drive (Though I think I tried his as a work-around / working locally as opposed to Adobe cloud).

Do you have full access rights to the installation folders of InDesign?
Have you installed any extra fonts?
Can you create a new user account on your machine and try only InDesign?

Thanks, I had another remote session this morning and I saw that the Adobe support chap spent 30m mins or so and deleted all the adobe folders / files etc again and re-installed. When they saw that the cloud docs were still not working, they just ended the chat without saying a word and apparently the case is closed haha! Adobe support is really shocking I must say, I don't blame the indiviuals trying to help me of course.
On the plus side I can now download the files and work locally so will do that to get my tasks done today.
In answer to your questions; yes I can access files. I did install a font family as Adobe fonts were playing up and yes I will try the new user idea (again when I have a little more time tomorrow). Many thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about the ongoing frustrations—it's tough when you're unable to focus on work due to tech issues. It's good to know you can now download files and work locally as a temporary solution. In the meantime, you can try below:
Cloud Document Access Issue
InDesign Crashing
Take it step by step, and let us know how things go. Hopefully, you'll get this resolved soon!

Thanks for your reply and I will carry out those steps next week, as I stated to Robert - I will carry on now with local files as they seem to be stable now and don't have the time/energy for any more technical experiments.
Regards.

Same issue here - InD docs in CC not opening - for me or my collaborator in diff geography. Up-to-date on version 20.0.1 . . . I hit open and nothing happens. I went thru "Cloud Document Access Issue" and got InD to crash. Reopened now nothing again after hitting Open. 2025 has not been a smooth update on a few different apps . . . premiere, after effects . . . I know it is a process, but uuugh

Hi @DBlayG,
I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with accessing your InDesign documents in the cloud—it's frustrating when things don't work smoothly, especially after an update. I understand your frustration with InDesign 2025 as well as other apps like Premiere and After Effects.
We’ve checked in the backend and noticed that you’re using a Teams account. To help resolve this, I recommend following the steps outlined in this official Adobe article for Teams support: Support for Teams Accounts.
It should provide you with the necessary troubleshooting steps to fix the issue with cloud documents and syncing.
Let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance. Hopefully, we can get this sorted quickly!
Best,
Abhishek Rao
