InDesign Crashing

When Launching InDesign it keeps crashing with this error message: Sorry, InDesign has encountered an error and needs to close. I have tried to delete preferences but still getting the same message.

Assuming you have the correct system specs, including plenty of RAM and spare hard disk capacity, it might be worth uninstalling InDesign via the Creative Cloud app. If it still crashes after reinstalling the application use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to uninstall InDesign https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
