Original Question:
"Is there a way I can separate a multi page indesign cs5 document into multiple indesign cs5 document files? (ie. a 12 page indesign file > 12 separate indesign files)
I'm having trouble finding a plug-in or function for this online. Anyone have any ideas?"
Someone responded with:
"I think there's probably already a script for this if you ask over in the scripting forum"
Can anyone help me with this?

I found a few scripts that are close to what I'm looking for but not quite, including the 1 you're suggesting. Thanks tho. I'll keep looking.

Umm.. Maybe you should tell us WHY these scripts are not what you are looking for.
... a 12 page indesign file > 12 separate indesign files ..
Loic's Page Extractor "can create new InDesign files on the fly from the pages you extract."
mg's script works per spread -- apparently also not what you are looking for?

@Jongware
In fairness to the OP, I believe that some of Loic's scripts are unavailable at the moment, pending review and update: http://www.loicaigon.com/en/script-debugging-call-files/
