After recovering my document Indsign can not open it. I get this dialouge box:

Has anyone experienced this and if so is there any solutions, other than redo the entire work?
Ah, that is too bad. InDesign files recovered in this fashion often get destroyed. Your .INDD file is no different. There is literally nothing left inside of it. It is 30.8MB of 0's - literally. Completely zero'ed out. Very sorry.

Did you tried the following:
Open InDesign and go to File > Open. Navigate to your corrupted InDesign file and click to select it. From the bottom of the Open window, choose Open Copy. InDesign will open the file as an Untitled copy. From here, you can File > Save the file as an uncorrupted copy.

An interesting one. When you say you recovered your InDesign file, can you explain more? Generally it would then get an "Untitled.indd" file name. Maybe you can share a link to the damaged file? I could then have a look. (and others)

I recovered it with Recoverit (the app) due to a human mistake (deleted by mistake) . Here is a link to the file. Thank you I appreciate it ![]()
