InDesign error - doesn't open a specific file

Hello!

I'm facing trouble opening a file I was designing. It worked fine until I tried to save a pdf and the program crashed for the first time. Then, when I tried to open the file, it didn't work.

I've tried re-starting the computer, and re-installing the program, but nothing seems to work. When I try opening other files it opens normally. I don't understand why this is happening and I really need to be able access the file.

What version of InDesign? What operating system? Is it just this one file? What is the error message? Is the file stored locally?

Do you have a backup copy?

For how long were you doing just SAVE - without doing SAVE AS with a new name?
