InDesign file won't sync on my devices

I have been having issues working on an InDesign file on my desktop and laptop. I take my laptop to work so I can work on the file. When I am at home, I use my desktop. However the file won't sync across both devices and I am not sure how I can fix it. I keep all my files in the creative cloud so I can work on them no matter where I am, but they won't sync. Any suggestions?

I do the same with Dropbox and have no problems, except if DP has a glitch which happen sometimes. All working folders with their links are in the DP.
