so my indesign was working perfectly and my office word was crashing every time i tried spell check so I went on control panel and clicked on office and then clicked change so i found on support page and then it asked for a reboot while my indesign app was open on the background and i accepted it. it didnt work and i figured it might be the Grammarly word extention i added so i deleted that and it started to work again. but since the reboot indesign just freezes every time i open it. i went on the fonts panel and saw that many fonts have been reinstalled so i deleted them all and still nothing! i even deleted fonts from a week ago and it still does not respond.

Hi,
Try Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences by manually going to the folder locations and deleting the cache and preferences folders.

Hi,
Did you delete both cache and preference?
You can Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems and then reinstall InDesign

so I deleted all of my fonts! and it started working. apparently office had installed fonts for me that i was not able to see. for this not to happen again, can anyone say how we can see all the new installed fonts? i could see the hidden files as well and I had my Fonts panel organized in date modified order so i could delete new ones but apparently that was not very helpful.
