InDesign not working correctly on PC

In Design seems to be lagging in response time when I select a thumbnail and try and open it. 

I also noticed one thumbnail that should show a green background but it appears pink in the thumbnail preview. 

I'm using the latest version and running Windows 11 Education.

What version of InDesign? What thumbnail preview are you referring to? How much RAM and what processor is that computer running?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the suggestions shared in this discussion for the slow performance issue. Also regarding the preview issue, can you confirm the version of InDesign, OS, and if this is happening with just this file or other files?
