InDesign shows Regular Font text as blank but shows in Italic, Bold etc. Please Help

I have tried reinstalling this particular font (refer to image) and reinstalling InDesign. The regular font is still showing up as blank. When I open documents with that existing font or even create a new text box it is completely blank. It only shows when I try typing in italics, bold etc. 

I've also tried previewing the document on my collegues computers and it works for all of them - they can see and type with the regular font. Just doesnt show on mine. 

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Does the font have glyphs in the alpha nummeric area or only in the symbol area? Look into Type > Glyph Panel

My guess is the font is corrupt. Open a file on a co-worker's computer that contains that font and package it. Reinstall the regular version from that file.
