InDesign snippet in InDesign 2021

What happened to the InDesign snippet export function. I like to use snippets and cannot find a way to create and save in the latest INDD version.

Hello,

It's under the File>Export Options....... You need to have somthing selected for the option to show.

Snippets are definitely still part of InDesign. In addition to using File > Export, you can also drag a selection to the desktop.

  • Using a selection tool, select one or more objects, and then choose File > Export. From the Save As Type (Windows) or Format (Mac OS) menu, choose InDesign Snippet. Type a name for the file and click Save.
  • Using a selection tool, select one or more objects, and then drag the selection to your desktop. A snippet file is created. Rename the file.
