Hello
I just bought a new monitor Asus ProArt PA278QV and connected my MacBook Air retina 13 inch 2018.
Everything looks fine except when I open documents in InDesign 2021, the text looks fuzzy and I would have to zoom so much for it look normal. Any ideas why this could be? I tried changing the settings on my monitor, my macbook display settings, Indesign view settings, messed with Terminal etc.. nothing seems to solve the problem so I'm planning to return the monitor but I would not know what to get for this problem to not occur. Do I need to get a 4K monitor? I'm attaching the difference of what it looks like on the monitor and on my laptop. Any ideas welcome
Many thanks

I'm on my Windows laptop at the moment so not sure this is relevant
But there is an Option for UI scaling
I doubt it wil make a difference but no harm in trying it.
I also found a discusson on the Apple forums

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about this. Do you have this issue with Adobe InDesign only? How is the display performance of other applications?
If it is just InDesign, you may try disabling the GPU Performance under Preferences & see if it makes a difference. Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Ashutosh
