Hello I'm not sure where to post this question, but I have a problem with the indesign to adobe express export new feature.
So most of my document is in Lato font, when I export the document, the placement and everything seems to be fine except some text fields. I will attach the image so you get the idea.
It seems like the lato font appears to be exactly the same TECHNICALLY. BUT it appears to be different somehow, now the resolution I found is to delete the text field copy drag the correct text field and then paste the previous contents.
Does anyone knows why that happens? And possible solution?
So the left font is "Lato Regular" and the right font is exactly the same "Lato Regular" seen in adobe express.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details along with the screenshot! I understand how frustrating it can be when the exported text fields don’t appear as expected, even though the font settings are the same.
To assist you better, could you please provide the following details:
Based on your description, it seems there might be an issue with how Adobe Express interprets text fields. For a potential solution, would you mind trying the following:

Thank you for such a quick assistance
1. Windows
2. Not sure, haven't tried - this is the first time I test the Adobe InDesign to Adobe Express future.
Furtherly for the next points you pointed.
- Lato is correctly installed via Adobe Fonts on both softwares.
- I know that, when I vectorise them they are indeed correctly displayed as they are outlines - but it is not what I'm looking for.
- Tried and it happens again. The only temporary solution is to do it in Adobe Express directly, but it is a little bit painful.

Thank you for sharing the details and trying the suggested steps. Since the issue seems to persist, it would be helpful if you could try one more thing:
Could you create a new sample document in InDesign, apply the same font (Lato Regular), and export it to Adobe Express? Also, would you mind try reinstalling the Lato font via Adobe Fonts to ensure it's fully synced and recognized correctly in both InDesign and Adobe Express.
If the problem continues, would you be able to share the problematic InDesign file with us? This will allow us to test it on our end, replicate the behavior, and work on a resolution if the issue persists. You can share a direct message to me with the file.
Let me know how it goes or if you’d like guidance on securely sharing the file!
Looking forward to your response.
Best,
Abhishek Rao

Will do this possibly tomorrow.
Reintall the font, uinstall prior to that, and then will create a document possibly replicating this bit of a content, but I will make sure to build it from scratch and copy the content from the notepad to ensure there is no copy-paste influence by any font and then export the file to AE. Will give you update after I do that.
Thanks for assisting!

I'm also having this problem. The text looks like its 1pt smaller and has extra tracking added. I've tried all the suggestions including using a different font with no luck.

Looks like its a screen render problem. When you download a pdf it all looks fine.
