I remade a new document from one that got corrupted.
All the index markers are, of course, in the text.
But the index also contains a lot of 'see' and 'see also' cross references (192 in all). These are evidently not stored in the text, but somewhere in the original document.
Is there any way to get these references into the new document? Importing topics from the original document doesn't do the trick: it imports the topic, but not the references, of course.
So the cross-reference 'Absence see Judgment (default)' comes in as 'Absence' only, because that is the topic, the rest is the reference.
Can anyone suggest a solution other than having to insert them one by one?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for - but the sub menu allows you to Load from another document

No, that's for cross-reference formats in the text. Something completeley different from the see references in the index.
Thanks for responding though. I see I didn't reply at the time, and when I ran into the same problem again now, I searched for a solution and came upon this again!
I can't remember whether I found a solution then. Will have to start inserting them one by one 😞

I feel your pain 😉 Sadly, you can only import Topics not the defenition of the reference nor the reference markers...

The files are rather big. The old one is 322 MB and the new one is 102 MB. I see the max attachment size allowed here is 47 MB so I've uploaded them to Google Drive as a zip file. You can download them from here.
(In case you wonder: I do it all as one document instead of a book with several documents, because this is a looseleaf service for which only certain pages (around 500 to 1000) are issued for each revision service, and I have to make PDFs of only those pages for each proofs and for printing. From a single document I can simply keep a list of the changed pages, and past that list into the the PDF dialog, whereas in a book of say 20 documents, I'd have to do it document by document.)
I didn't package it and include the fonts, so it's likely to look a bit weird. If you want me to send the document fonts folder, let me know.
