Hallo Community! Vielen Dank, Frank
Creative Cloud is part of the subscription. When you buy InDesign, you install the Creative Cloud Desktop App first that’s the official installer and license manager. From there, you install InDesign (and any other apps you subscribe to).
The Creative Cloud Desktop App isn’t “extra”; it’s the hub for everything your subscription includes:
App installation & updates
Adobe Fonts
Cloud storage & Libraries
License management
Account settings
This is simply how

Yes. A subscription allows you to install the current version AND the the the next previous version through the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Versions 20 and 21 are the ONLY versions currently available for download and installation, and next year version 20 will dissappear when version 22 is released.

Thank you for your quick reply. So, to get the previous version 20.5.1 I also need the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Is this App included in the monthly subscription of InDesign, or do I need to subscripe for it seperately?

It's part of the subscription. You should have the Desktop App installed then you can manage your Creative Cloud applications from there.

Far as I know Creative Cloud is not automatically part of the InDesign subscription. At least it's sold seperately

That is incorrect. In order to manage everything it's essential to install that first.

So I can't just subscripe for InDesign … I have to subscripe for Creative Clud, too? Looks like this jobs gonna cost me more than it pays.

This is simply how Adobe distributes and manages its software now.
It’s no different from how game platforms work like Steam or Epic Games where the launcher handles downloads, updates, and licensing. Creative Cloud is the same idea your portal to Adobe’s ecosystem.
