I'm creating a calendar and have set up auto numbering so I don't have to move the dates for each month (using Paragraph Styles>Bullets & Number). Just as they would on a real calendar, the dates need to go from left to right across a spread and then top to bottom. However, when I put my number in the second week, the numbers follow the individual pages and not the spread.
Take a look at my screen shot:
How can I make the paragraph styling ignore pages and follow the spread? Is my only option to make a new master that's a spread size?

Are these date boxes individual text frames, columns in a multi-column text frame, or cells in a table?

Right now, I have them as individual text boxes as that's how it works with the Paragraph Style I set up.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. A paragraph style works the same whether it's in a single text frame, multi-column frame or a table cell.
You mention that your trouble is between pages of a spread. Is your screenshot of a spread? I'm not clear what you mean by "the numbers follow the individual pages and not the spread."

The Paragraph style I set up has kind of an action with it and is based on the previous text box. So when I put the first text box in starting with 1, every text box I create after that follows a consecutive order. See my screen shot:
And yes, my previous screen shot is of a spread so as I'm placing the text boxes across the two pages (or spread) it works until I go to the second week and then style thinks the last number was a 4 and not the 7.
Hope that makes sense.

Can you go to View>Extras>Show Text Threads and select all of the text frames and see how the text flow works? It should look something like this:

This is not a direct answer to the question, but have you considered using the Calendar Wizard script?
It's very customizable and does all the heavy lifting for you…

Yes, I loaded that and the interface was confusing so I ditched it. I really only need the numbers to auto-populate and change each month/year so I thought the calendar wiz was just too much for what I needed. Plus I already had the calendar styled and spaced the way I wanted it.
