I'm having issues installing the latest version of Indesign Server on a Windows Server 2019. The application will not install. This message is shown...
The logs don't mention any clear indication. The only thing we notice is this in the deployment report ...
<errorCode>7</errorCode><errorSubCode>195</errorSubCode>
After Googling, it seems 195 has something to do with prerequisites, but they all seem to be valid.
The server did contain the Indesign Server 2022 version, which could be installed succesfully.
How do I find out what the problem is quickly?

Thanks to the professional services team from Adobe, the issue was fixed.
The installer apparently contained Media Encoder and/or Bridge components that were not compatible with the server's specifications. After creating a new build (without the additional components), the installation did work.

You can ignore the above. The issue with mine was that version 19.5 was incompatible with Server 2019. I had to install InDesign version 19.4 and it installed.
I have called Adobe support but was told that they won't assist of the server is a VM.
