Jumpy Magic Mouse in InDesign - (option/shift/c, zoom issues, jumpy)

I just upgraded to a Magic Mouse and it is driving me nuts, especially when working in InDesign.

Some of the issues is when I try to copy something using option / shift / c InDesign keeps zooming out making me have to go back in and zoom in every time I copy something. Plus, it is extremely touchy making precision steps very difficult. When searching on this issue there is nothing current. I can't be the only one having this issue, am I?

In addition to the zoom issue, it is just extremely touchy where my page scrolls around when I don't want it to.

I have gone into my System Prefs and played around with the mouse settings and so far nothing has helped.

I am usually one to want the latest and greatest, but the Magic Mouse is making me want my old wired mouse back - I was much more efficient.

(I am on an iMac, using the latest CC 2019 software, macOS Mojave Ver 10.14.1.)

There have been reports of issues with that mouse on and off for as long as I can remember.

That sure seems to be the case. It does seem to be much more sensitive when working in Adobe programs, though (but then again, that is pretty much all I use).
