Hi Friends!
Can someone point me a any good, detailed tutorials about the keep options, orphans and widows etc.
My doc looks terrible from a vertical point of view breaking paragraphs in the middle of pages and leaving a large white space at the bottom of the page etc.
thank you

Keep with next only for healines and intructionsl paragraphs.
Normal paragraphs keep 2 or 3 lines together at the beginning and end.
Headlines keep all together.
Keep with previous I use only for the first and second pRagraph of lists.
Never use multiple returns to create space between paragraphs, NEVER!

Thank you for that easy and fast tutorial.
So maybe you have an idea why i have these gigantic gaps bewtween the end of the text area nad the beginning of the footnote area? I have tried adjusting the FN layout setings and have not accomplished really anything. Extremely frustrating....

Don't let it distract you that it is in Hebrew. The line at the left is showing the enlarged space:
too much space before fn
What also doesn's make sence to me, is that on the next page there is on line of this paragraph, an orphan. But there is plenty of space to put here before the FN area. If i set the setting to 2 lines in keep it pulls an addiotional line form this page and puts i on the next! Why can't it fetch that next line on the next page and put it here?!
You assisatance is sincerely appreciated!

I don't see the whole page and neither the next page.
If in the coming line is another footnote which has not enough space on the first page, then a page break is inserted, even if it looks there is enoug space on the same page.
