layer content no longer listed but visible

I created a new page and assigned a different master to it. When I returned to the previous page, it looked correct, but all of the layers show no objects listed, as if there was no content. I can no longer select any items or edit anything. The various layer colors can be discerned, but  the layer list is blank. You can see from the layer list that all the spinners are down.

Any ideas?

If the items are on the master they are not going to show up in the layers panel.

Of Course! I sure thought I created it all on the correct page, but I guess not.
