Links panel

Hi All 

could you please help me because I am very confused, links panel is empty although I import images to InDesign !! no links appear in the panel

any one can help me to make it normal ?

Which version of InDesign and OS?

You need to Place your images in InDesign.

I use InDesign CC2015 and Windows 7, I already tried to place images and open some other files with linked images

but the links panel remains empty !!

Sometimes this can happen if your document has crashed before.

1. Save your publication as idml

2. Open it this idml

3. Re-save as new indd

4. Re-open this new indd.

Hi Mahmoud,

could be that you have to trash your preferences or cache data.

I'm not sure where on Windows 7 the folders reside.
