Hello,
I have an Excel Table linked to InDesign. (With table, cell & paragraph styles), all good.
When I place the table, I have to manually set the header of the table (it's ok, no problem).
If I change the text inside the table in Excel, it updates well in InDesign, all good.
The problem is when I ADD a row in Excel. I lose the header format.
And I have to manually set the header again.
How can I add rows in my Excel without losing the header format in InDesign?
Notes:
The following solution does not work: Table > Table Options > Headers and Footers.
It only works for tables created in InDesign, not for linked tables as my case.
Hope this has a solution.
Thanks in advance and Best Regards.

Losing the header when updating tables has long been an aggravation. [Technically, Excel does have a header row(s) unless one converts the data to a table in Excel.] However, I have noticed that the latest version (or two) keeps my header when updating a linked table.
What version of InDesign are you using?

Same--on Windows.
