Microsoft Visual CC+ Runtime Library error

Hi, I have started getting this message every time I open InDesign (Photoshop, Illustrator all work fine) and after I close it, InDesign crashes and I'm not able to open it. 

I have tried deinstalling and then reinstalling InDesign several times and restoring it to a previous version, but it has not fixed the problem. Has anyone found a workaround this issue?

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing. I would suggest you try the steps suggested in this Illustrator helpx article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html) regarding a Microsoft Visual CC+ Runtime Library issue similar to InDesign. Try repairing or reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable & running InDesign as an Administrator.
