Missing Find Window

I seem to have lost my Find window in InDesign CC 2017. It's not grayed out in the menu, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I've tried switching to an alternate workspace, moving windows and toolbars around, restarting the program, rebooting my computer, ... I'm not sure what else to try.

I've used the find function multiple times a day for years and have never run into this problem... Any ideas?

I'm on a Mac running El Capitan 10.11.

Try resetting your preferences:
