Dear lovely community,
I'm new to InDesign and wondering if there is an efficient way to handle missing font style errors.
I've received a Word document that uses a lot of Italic sections in the Normal text. The selected font type has no Italic style, just Regular Italic. Is there an efficient way to replace those red-colored sections with Regular Italic?
(I've tried to find a solution but haven't got the wording right while searching. If you know a solved thread on this topic, I'd also appreciate a link to that thread.)
Try File -> Package -> Find/Replace fonts.
Then you'll have a list of used fonts - with "missing" indicator - you can select new font and style.
You can also redefine Char & Para styles - checkbox at the bottom.
